Usha
If each of us made that conscious choice every time of choosing good over evil, wouldn’t this be paradise?
It would be a paradise. But right now we are forced to find paradise with whatever we have and wherever we are because of our choices.

And the sad part of it all is that these lunatics believe that what they are doing is good
that is the worst part. So the cure is in the master mind. Just like how a madhiravadi's soul is in a parrot beyond 7 seas, the bow that shot is far away. They are merely arrows. The bow has to be killed.

a HOLY thing- which assures them a place in heaven.
People think heaven is a dream land that one goes to after life. But they forget to see the heaven in the life that they are in.

They convert this world into Hell and hope for heaven elsewhere. Crazy imbeciles!
Rightly said!

Nita
There are too many questions now, and too few answers.
Answers get worked out faster only when too many questions arise. But we need to keep patience no matter what.

Gauri
No doubt. The question is, who is innocent. To you, me and most others, the answer is obvious. But from another perspective, they could be seen as guilty.
I agree with your point of view.

Once insanity is fixed in your mind, it will try to justify and rationalize itself no matter what.
We have to fix the cause of insanity rather than insanity itself. Without the cause, the insanity will not exist. Very good thoughts from you.

//Killing innocent people is evil, whatever perspective you look at.//

No doubt. The question is, who is innocent. To you, me and most others, the answer is obvious. But from another perspective, they could be seen as guilty. Guilty of not belonging to the "right" race, religion, group or nationality. Once insanity is fixed in your mind, it will try to justify and rationalize itself no matter what. It's sad.

Shivya
Killing them will make their survivors even more adamant for revenge
True, but what has to be done has to be done and the consequences have to be faced by either party

involved. Either way, we cannot get out of this until the past is completely destroyed.

Maybe the world could’ve been a better place if there were none.
That is an interesting thought.

I wonder what the upper limit of evil might be, or if it even has one.
That cannot be judged by any one. I would say it is probably like the Joker character in Dark Knight. Pure evil with no motive.

Amit
Its a vicious cycle which might never end.
It is a vicious cycle and it has to be ended by breaking the circle somewhere.

As long as there are people manipulating people, this won’t stop.
Then we should stop the people manipulating people or stop it from people getting manipulated.

Arpit
Welcome to my blog :)
your solutions are really thought proving
Thank you.

but you see this is the age of “kalyug” and frankly speaking there will be more than "exceptions”
That is why there is more chaos than order.

keeping this in view i think the war has started
We have just realized it has started.

but we just need to fight back in a peaceful way without shedding even a drop of blood
That may be very difficult.

Praveen
Brilliant post man!!
Thank you.

How can someone just choose evil!!! Is evil under disguise when it woos the human mind??
It is possible for someone to choose evil if he/she is mentally ill or if he/she gets a temporary feeling of happiness by doing that. Evil disguises very nicely.

Gauri
It has to be eradicated, not just solved. And after that, a sense of right and wrong needs to
be instilled in the next generation very early on.
Exactly, this is the only "Moksha" or "Nirvana" from terrorism.

the saddest part is they’re brainwashed to believe that what they are doing is in fact for the greater good
This is why, there is no chance for the current breed of extremists to come out of the notion.
They cannot be trusted, in my opinion they have to be sentenced to slow death, atleast when that
happens they can spend their last days repenting on the mistakes that they did. It will not be a
sin on our side, it will be our duty. But the future is in our hands and the future is made with our present actions not by repenting on the past. So we have to destroy the past and move into a better future.

if you see it through their eyes, even they have chosen “good” over “evil”. Just a matter of
perspective.
Killing innocent people is evil, whatever perspective you look at.

Raji
Absolutely right Dinesh!
Thank you

Changing oneself itself is not easy and changing others is way too difficult.
Exactly. You have made a good point. Most of the problems in the world arises because someone

tries to change others instead of changing oneself.

So, unless the person realises bad is bad, nothing can be done.
Which is very true. It is extremely difficult.

Su
while(1) {repeating solutions 1,2 and 3 should be done with this condition}
and have to be done in parallel.

the final solution is fool-proof, but takes an eternity to be thought about, and realising the

correct positive outcome.
True, but that is the only perfect solution no matter how long it takes to implement.

Sakhi
Kash!!
yeah!

Nikhil
What a bunch of retards.
Exactly, they are mentally ill to think that it is ok to kill innocent people.

I think someone needs to tell the terrorists that killing people will not get things done!
They will probably kill that someone before he/she opens his/her mouth.

There is truth in what you say. It has to be eradicated, not just solved. And after that, a sense of right and wrong needs to be instilled in the next generation very early on.

I think there's a very small percentage of human beings who would actually choose to do evil. Either our of hatred or bitterness from some past, or a plain sadistic nature. The 'terrorists' are trained at a very early age by a part of this small percentage, before they can form their own thoughts, or have lived enough to differentiate good from evil. And the saddest part is they're brainwashed to believe that what they are doing is in fact for the greater good - and that they're destroying the evil. So yes, if you see it through their eyes, even they have chosen "good" over "evil". Just a matter of perspective.

while(1) {repeating solutions 1,2 and 3 should be done with this condition}
it'll be simpler in tht case than expecting/enforcing about-to-be-terrorists to choose good over evil... the final solution is fool-proof, but takes an eternity to be thought about, and realising the correct positive outcome.

திருடனாய் பார்த்து திருந்தாவிட்டால் திருட்டை ஒழிக்க முடியாது. - Absolutely right Dinesh! Changing oneself itself is not easy and changing others is way too difficult. So, unless the person realises bad is bad, nothing can be done.

Vishesh
peace
Love and Peace, like how Bono sings.

Apar
Now I understand more about your twitter update
Thanks, I was almost getting to a point, if anyone was understanding my updates :)

do you really think terrorists can change their train of thought?
I don't know. But when we wipe out all the current set of terrorists, and if we have to have a world of no terrorists after that, then we should choose good over evil everytime and it applies to everyone in the world. There will be no more terrorists then. Unfortunately, it is too late for the current set of terrorists, they will have to be weeded out. I am sorry if my post hasn't conveyed that clearly.

Don’t know…am so vague in my comment I guess!
That's ok, I think I didn't make myself clear in my post.

Arvind
I personally feel ..there is no end to terrorism ..
Yes, that is what I have conveyed, I feel so too that there is no real end to terrorism.

.ur LAst Line has a good and strong point ..but would that happen ..
Thank you. I am not sure if that will happen, but we can try.

The main problem is that people who are doing this are fucking sick mentally
True, they are fubar (F**ed up beyond repair). My point was if we start choosing good over evil, then we wont end up having fubared people in future. Sorry I didn't make myself clear.

Reema
Sadly what u say is an utopian condition. Out of so many many people there will always be good and bad guys.
True, but if there are enough good people then good will overshadow evil and there will be love and peace.

Swapna
Good post Dinesh…
Thank you

Amreekandesi
True words…killing terrorists will never solve the problem.
Yes, but it will temporarily solve the problem and that has to be done.

The more we kill more will arise.
and yes, we have to continue our duty to fight against each of these.

The fundamental problems have to be solved if this problem has to be eliminated.
This has to be done too in parallel.

Going by Afghanistan and Iraq, it doesnt look like that is happening though.
They are bad examples. Obviously we need to do it better.

Destination Infinity
That’s correct but there is no practical way to do that
True, that's why I said, we have to keep doing first 3 points and also pursue the last point, if we have to live in peace.

Maxdavinci
loved the last line!
Thank you. Sometimes you have to write a whole post, so that the last line gets loved :)

I personally feel ..there is no end to terrorism ..
All we can to is , avert the attacks ..
what for are intelligence wing, BSF and coast gaurd ..
anti social elements will keep on coming with different motives like what u said ..

ur LAst Line has a good and strong point ..but would that happen ..
The main problem is that people who are doing this are fucking sick mentally and they think they are doing good and not evil.. so the point u mentioned is not valid for them ...
The terrorist who got arrested says that he has no regrets for killing innocent people .. gosh !! he has no brain to judge what is good and what is bad ..

Now I understand more about your twitter update :)
Yes, security must be beefed up. And yes, the terrorists must stop what they are doing on their own...choose the right path (doubt that will happen!)
Better safe than sorry! Though a thought...do you really think terrorists can change their train of thought? Sometimes, I think that evil cannot be taken out.Better to counter act that hope that they are pro-active to become good!Don't know...am so vague in my comment I guess! :)
